Change of Investment Manager for Jupiter China Fund

We can confirm that from 9 August 2021 the Jupiter China Fund (unit trust) will be managed by Ping An of China Asset Management as sub-investment manager.

Ping An has managed the Jupiter China Equity Fund (previously the Merian China Equity Fund), an Irish domiciled UCITS fund, since March 2018 on an outsourced basis from Merian Global Investors.  Following the acquisition of Merian in 2020, Jupiter has taken on this relationship, and we see it as a natural next step for the company to take on the management of the Jupiter China Fund.  We believe that, as a specialist China asset manager with extensive local research teams, Ping An is well positioned to successfully deliver on the fund’s investment objective for clients.

There will be no change to the investment objective and policy of the Fund.
