Changes to DOLR Linking requirements from 2 March 2017
With effect from 2 March 2017 (the ‘effective date’) we are changing the DistributorOnline (‘DOLR’) linking process.
From the effective date, we will simplify the DistributorOnline page, and give you clearer guidance for how to link an account where additional authority (‘DOLR Authority’) is required.
New DOLR links
To link accounts in your own name, in a trading name, for a wholly owned subsidiary, or to link an account in the name of another entity , we have provided guidance to explain what documents are required. On the new page, you can categorise your request as either A, B or C, and receive specific instructions.
From the 13 March 2017, only the documents and DOLR authority listed online can be accepted (allowing for any existing authority requests to be submitted and completed).
Changes to existing DOLR reports
If you want to change your current reports, without making a change to the data reporting (i.e. add a new report, remove a report or change the frequency of a report) you can now instruct us using Webchat. Please use the Live Chat icon, which appears on the right of the Portal screen when the service is available.
Changing the details of your DOLR recipient
Again, we’ve simplified the process, meaning from the effective date we can accept changes to your recipient information (e-mail address or named contact) via Webchat.
The new page is live now and can be found by clicking here.
Any linking requests received by IFDS on or after the 13 March 2017 must be submitted on the new forms to avoid the request being rejected.
