Standard Life Investments UK Real Estate Feeder Fund and Standard Life Investments UK Real Estate Fund – Change to Primary Share Class  

The primary share class, as recorded with the Investment Association, of both the Aberdeen UK Property Feeder Fund and the Aberdeen UK Property Fund (now both closed) was the Institutional share class.   The primary share class of the Standard Life Investments UK Real Estate Feeder Fund (“SLI Feeder”) and Standard Life Investments UK Real Estate Fund (“SLI PAIF”) is currently the Platform 1 share class. 

In view of the above abrdn have taken the decision to change the primary share class of the SLI Feeder Fund and SLI PAIF from the Platform 1 share class to the Institutional share class.  This is currently being updated with the Investment Association.

If you wish, please arrange to convert any existing holdings in the Platform 1 share class of the SLI Feeder Fund and/or SLI PAIF to the equivalent Institutional share class.  We have provided a mapping table below for ease.  The conversion can be arranged by sending your usual conversion request instruction to us.  If you currently have the Institutional share class restricted on your platform to specific customers only, these restrictions can be removed. If abrdn require to update your legal agreement to include the Institutional share class or remove the restrictions of the SLI Feeder Fund and/or SLI PAIF  they will be in touch with you directly to arrange this.
